About Us

At the center of our church life are Jesus Christ and His Word. We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and the unchanging foundation of our faith, doctrine, and life.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

2 Timothy 3:16

Our Purpose

The chief desire of our church is to glorify God, faithfully follow Jesus Christ, and proclaim to others the Good News of salvation.

Through the preaching and study of Holy Scripture, we desire that people come to know the Lord, be strengthened in faith, and learn to apply God’s Word in their daily lives.

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:11

We believe that the Church is called to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people and to fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission.

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Mark 16:15

Our Church Life

The Word of God holds the central place in our worship services through its reading, preaching, and study. We believe that through Holy Scripture God reveals His truth, instructs, corrects, strengthens, and guides His Church.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”

2 Timothy 4:2

Our worship services also include united prayer and congregational singing of spiritual hymns. Children and young people take part in the services, and there are recitations, solo singing, and other individual contributions.

All of this is done with one purpose: to glorify our God, edify the Church, and strengthen one another in faith.

“Let all things be done unto edifying.”

1 Corinthians 14:26

We seek to care for one another, support those in need, provide spiritual instruction for children and young people, and pass the truth of God’s Word on to the next generations.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Acts 2:42

For us, it is important not only to hear and know God’s Word, but also to live according to it.

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.”
